Islamic school in Virginia teaches children that murder of apostates is "justified"

Our local Obama campaign newsletter newspaper, the Washington Post, reports in today’s Metro section that an Islamic school in Fairfax County (where I live), which is funded by the Saudis, has used textbooks for eighth-graders comparing Jews and Christians to apes and pigs, calling them “the enemies of the believers.” The book “contains a Koranic verse about Allah turning people into apes and pigs. The textbook states in a footnote: ‘It is said: The apes are the people of the Sabbath, the Jews. The swine are the unbelievers of Jesus’ table, the Christians.’” one book calls the killing of apostates “justified.” A text used for twelfth-graders called jihad “the pinnacle of Islam” and said, “There is no security or stability except in strength and victory over the enemies. In martyrdom in the path of Allah is a type of honorable life.”

Fairfax County has asked the State Department for guidance, but they have not responded. A Saudi government source said, “There are some things that shouldn’t be taught to children.” Hmm. So it’s okay to teach these things to adults?

Did you read the article about the young Jews who are trying to resolve world-wide conflict between Islamic nations and Israel? Their first step toward this goal is “making new friends” with Muslims. I hate to be pessimistic, but that is a complete waste of time. The Koran teaches Muslims to show the sword to opposition. Obviously not all Muslims believe that they should wage deadly jihad, but the sacred documents of a religion determine doctrine. I think the Saudi school should teach the doctrine of jihad according to the Koran. Let the rest of the world take note what this “peaceful” religion is all about.

Pastor,
Having lived with Muslims both here in the U.S. and in a Muslim country I can tell you that that is what is taught in Saudi funded mosques and schools. They pour money into the U.S. to fund this type of Islam. Also, many of the “moderates” I have known, while not agreeing totally with the above, would have find it difficult to outwardly express disapproval of calling Jews apes and Christians swine.

When i was living in Virginia I actually had a chance to talk to a man who was a teacher there (an American Muslim) and it was quite obvious that the school is radicalized. Whether they will admit to it or not.

As far as the killing of apostates…that is very clearly stated in the Koran. You jail the apostate for three days offering him/her only bread or water. You ask every day if they will renounce their new religion and come back to Islam. If they don’t renounce and return they are to be beheaded. There are no other options.

Most of the converts to Christianity that I know have feared for their lives and most immigrated and/or are no longer in relationship with their families.

What they are teaching in that school is what is in the Koran.
