This is precisely why I stopped, several months ago, following most blogs. Lots of much ado about nothing, a lot of the time, and chatter incessantly about a lot of trivia.

And a lot of "Lutheran-oneupmanship" going on constantly, with a very healthy dose of fundamentally bad thinking and analysis going on.

Anyone who gets all googley-eyed about wearing pink/rose vestments or who gets red in the face at the thought of those who wear them: all of them need to get a life!

I have a good friend who shall, for his own protection remain nameless, who will frequently exclaim when aware of such blogosphere tempests: "This makes me want to stop being a Christian."

I am led to the profound question: "Who cares?!""

But seriously, how do we get from "rose" to "pink" and why is rose or pink a color of joy?

These are the mysteries that keep me up at night.

At least you guys aren't putting up tabernacles. Does Eckardt wear pink too?

I'm getting confused.
