Listing the pastor’s faults

From Pastor Abusers: When Sheep Attack Their Shepherd, by Kent Crockett:
One pastor said this about a critical member in his new church:
“He offered to take m out to eat one day, so I accepted. Little was I prepared for what was about to happen. Setting down his sandwich he said, ‘Brian, there are a number of things you are doing wrong, but for the sake of time I’ve kept my list to ten.’”
Sadly, it’s not a joke.

On the bright side, at least the guy talked directly to his pastor instead of listing his faults to the Circuit Counselor and District President without ever talking to his pastor.
At least he didn’t first go to the neighboring pastor with a sympathetic ear, who would then turn took their concerns to the new pastor…and the CC & DP. But that would NEVER happen…
I wonder if this is in my future . . .
